"After travelling for several years, I returned to Lucca and in 1998 i began to put my experiences to work. With my background in architecture and interior design, I oversaw renovations for foreigners who had purchased farm houses and villas in Lucca and the surrounding hills. " These homes were done to the highest standard, in collaboration with American, English and Italian artisans. "During this time, I developed a sincere love of the countryside and purchased my own farm house in the hills. In speaking with my neighbors, as well as the owners of the places I'd worked on, we decided to offer these special houses for rent.
